Pransome is a community tailoring project celebrating queer, and gender non-conforming bodies here in Philadelphia, PA. With a particular focus on trans masc identities under 5'8", Pransome reforms fashion for everyone so clothes match your pace, shape and spirit. In partnership with William Way, LGBTQIA clients receive free or subsidized services at locations around the city.

Pin sessions are alteration sessions for pre-owned garments. By sharing your body measurements, we hem, contour or otherwise alter your clothes and accessories to honor your size and spirit.

Pransome offers a free alteration in exchange for a full body measurement every year as a WWCC program. Return customers are celebrated with bulk discounts called Transfixes (7 pieces for $200) or single alterations according to our pricing sheet found here (https://pransome.com/alterations).

Alterations are completed at the Pransome studio in Old Kensington, with initial pin sessions held at WWCC.

All alterations are delivered to all of our customers at the location and on the day/time agreed.
At the end of your pin session, expect your haberdasher to confirm where and when they will drop off the finished product. We hand off garments directly to our clients.

Pin Sessions are singular alteration appointments for new and returning clients while TranFix services are bulk alterations for existing clients. TransFix alterations are generally small or identical tweaks needed for 5-7 pieces.
