Volunteer Opportunities

A core base of more than 250 active volunteers helps William Way’s small staff plan and facilitate programs and services 365 days a year. There are a few ways to volunteer depending on your availability, interests and talents.

Tier 1: One-time or as-needed

This volunteer opportunity is ideal for someone who may have limited time and a changing schedule.

This is also great for corporate employee resource groups (ERGs), school associations and many others (friend, church, and MeetUps) who want to volunteer as a group. It includes:

Assisting at tabling events, art gallery openings, open houses, tours, ticketing and special event preparations. Also, group volunteers help with improvement projects around the Center.

Tier 3: Regular shift

The Center relies on the amazing volunteers who show up for weekly shifts and monthly planning meetings. Not only is this a great way to invest a set amount of time with us, but you’ll meet new people who share similar interests. Here are some current opportunities:
