About Senior Programs at The Center
Tuesday MorningsOut Senior Social
A social/educational group for GBT men 50 and over, with occasional outings, speakers and events. Light refreshments served, but members’ offerings are always appreciated. Meets every Tuesday from 10:30 am to 12:30 pm
50+ Rap Group
This is a self-led peer support forum where older LGBT adults meet to process their feelings and concerns related to their personal lives in a casual supportive environment. Each week a member of the group volunteers to moderate based on a pre-written format. All those 50 and above are welcome to attend. Meets every Thursday from 1 pm to 2 pm.
This program fosters connections between LGBT people across generations and provides opportunities for meaningful, mentoring interactions for younger and older LGBT people. Participants get together at least once a month for friendly conversation, trips to local attractions, or any number of activities that may interest both participants. If you would like to become a friendly visitor, know a senior, or are a senior who would benefit from this program please contact Ed Miller at 215-732-2220 or email email@example.com
