Archives
Philadelphia 's most extensive collection of rare books, periodicals, video and audio tapes, periodicals, personal correspondence, and other ephemera documenting the rich history of our LGBT community. The Archives has an ongoing exhibit in the lobby that changes periodically. For more info about the archives please contact the Center or visit during drop-in hours on Wednesday evenings between 6pm and 8pm.
 

The Art Gallery
Regular exhibitions in William Way's lobby showcase the work of local LGBT artists and historical and cultural retrospectives. The Art Gallery's exhibits change bi-monthly and the Center hosts opening receptions to introduce the artist and her/his work to the public. All art work in the gallery is available for sale and sneak-preview receptions are occasionally
offered for interested collectors.


The David Bohnett Cyber Center
The David Bohnett Cyber Center is open during regular hours of operation at the Community Center. The three desktop units and 8 laptops are stationed in the Center's newly wireless Lobby and are fully equiped with the Microsoft Office Suite and are internet accessible.You can also bring your own laptap for Free wireless access. Library and Reading Room/The Book Club
With over 10,000 books available, our library contains one of the nation's largest collections of LGBT-related fiction and non-fiction. Registered Library users may check out books, and non-registered library users may browse the stacks and lounge in the lobby while reading the book. Contact the Center for hours and availability. The Library Book Club meets on the 3rd Wednesday of every month at 7 pm. A different book will be discussed each month. Contact the Center or visit our calendar for more information.



Queer Writers Collective
Fourth Saturday of the Month @ 4 pm. For writers of all skill levels and styles. Join this free group for a monthly workshop and discussion to develop your unique queer voice via the written word. Free.


Speakers Bureau
Want to educate your classroom, office, or other group on LGBT issues? Our trained bureau of volunteer speakers is available to speak to groups on LGBT-related themes and issues. Contact the Center to arrange a speaking engagement.
 

Workshops
We offer regular educational workshops focused on the particular needs of the LGBT community. Past topics have included financial planning, home-buying, and tax issues. Check out the newsletter for upcoming workshops.



Buddhist Meditation
Sundays at 5:00 pm For Buddhists and those interested in Buddhism. Meditation and discussion. Free.
