Join PhilaVentures for a day of kayaking down the Delaware River on Saturday, August 2.  We will meet at 10am at Kittatinny Canoes in Dingman's Ferry (2130 RT. 739, Dingmans Ferry, PA 18328 - do NOT cross the bridge into NJ!), see their website for directions; www.kittatinny.com. 

Cost is $46 per person for kayak rental.  Participants MUST call Kittatinny at 1-800-FLOATKC (1-800-356-2852) to reserve your kayak, and they will ask for a $10 deposit to hold your reservation. 

Please specify that you will be doing the River Beach to Dingman's Ferry trip.  There is parking available in a state run parking lot across the road from Kittatinny for $10 per car. 

Please also RSVP to the event leaders so we know to expect you and can all start out together (the outfitter will drive us up river from their base to start at River Beach, you will kayak down river and end back at Dingman's Ferry).    Novice and experienced kayakers welcome.  Pack a lunch in a water resistant container that will fit in the kayak with you, bring plenty of water, and wear old sneakers or water shoes with good soles (NO flipflops!).
