In partnership with the Delaware Valley Legacy Fund, the Mazzoni Center, and others, the William Way LGBT Community Center is encouraging all LGBT individuals 55 years old and up to participate in a survey to learn about the unique experiences and needs of the LGBT population as it ages.

From The Philadelphia Gay News:  "In addition to gathering basic demographic information, such as income, race and age, the anonymous survey asks participants to prioritize such issues as nutrition, housing, recreation and socializing. It also questions respondents about the frequency of their medical check-ups, their transportation, nutritional and housing needs and their views on the current social services available for local LGBT seniors."  The full PGN article can be
accessed by clicking here.

And, this anonymous survey can be picked up in person at the William Way LGBT Community Center at 1315 Spruce Street or done online by clicking here.

Please consider participating or encouraging your friends 55 and older to participate in this worthwhile, anonymous effort to help gauge our community's needs!
