2016 Board of Directors Election
Below are the names of the 2016 candidates for the William Way Community Center Board of Directors. There are four elected positions open on the Board for a two year term of office. You will have an opportunity to meet the candidates at the Center's Annual Meeting on Saturday January 9th at 12:30pm. The candidates will be introduced, make a brief statement and respond to questions posed by the audience.

Steve has been a volunteer at the William Way Community Center since May, 2009. He is currently the Secretary of the William Way Board of Directors. Steve works a weekly shift at the front desk, conducts the monthly Volunteer Orientation Program and works special events for the center. In addition to his volunteer work, Steve has held numerous positions in the Human Resources & Employee Benefits field for the last 23 years. Currently, Steve is a Project Manager at Towers Watson, a premier Human Resources & Employee Benefits Consulting Firm, where he manages all aspects of Pension Administration for multiple mid-market clients. Prior to that, Steve was the Director of Special Projects at Affiliated Computer Services. Steve's professional experience also includes managing large teams and managing relationships with Fortune 300 clients. Steve is divorced and the proud father of two teenage children.
Anh has served on the Board of William Way Community Center since March, 2013. He is currently the Treasurer of the Board of Directors, and serves on the Center’s Finance Committee. He is Senior Planning and Logistics Analyst for Merck. He is also Global Chair for the Merck Rainbow Alliance employee resource group (formerly known as the Gay Lesbian Employees and Allies at Merck.) He is also past-President of the Fins, Philadelphia’s gay and lesbian masters swim team. He lives in Philadelphia with his partner and a black Labrador retriever.
Marc brings more than two decades of experience in community engagement and marketing. As the President and Founder of The Tactile Group, Marc leads his team in the development of marketing and digital outreach tools for enhanced client engagement. He looks forward to bringing that expertise and energy to the William Way Community Center Board. Marc lives in Philadelphia with his husband where they are involved in supporting many community organizations.
Chad has served on the William Way LGBT Community Center’s Finance Committee for the past year. He is the Director of Client Analytics at Aramark, where he leads a team to manage the client database and ensure accuracy of the Salesforce reporting process. He is looking forward to continuing to serve the Center with his knowledge and skillset for database management. Chad lives in Philadelphia with his partner where they enjoy rooftop decks and summertime barbecues.
